Daniel Bryan is no longer with WWE, and it was said that he wouldn’t get the CM Punk treatment. For some reason the company felt it was necessary to cut a reference to the Planet’s Champion from a recent YouTube video.

We previously covered how WALTER told After The Bell that he wants a match against Cesaro. He also namedropped Finn Balor and Daniel Bryan in the interview. Specifically, he said of Daniel Bryan:

“When I first got into watching other wrestling than WWE, I was watching a lot of Ring of Honor. Those guys are the top guys in WWE right now, so Daniel Bryan would be one of the matches I really wanted to do.”

Now WWE has edited Daniel Bryan’s name from the clip that they put up from that interview. When asked about who he wants to face, WALTER leaves Daniel Bryan’s name out of the conversation in this new edit.

Bryan’s WWE contract expired and he is a free agent. WWE and Bryan Danielson are in communication, but there has been no momentum to sign him back at this point. We will have to see what he decides to do. WWE is apparently hedging their bets in the meantime and removing him from YouTube videos.
