Sonya Deville dodged a very scary situation as a stalker who had been harassing her for months broke into her home. He was arrested and is currently awaiting trial. Today was a big day for that case as Phillip A Thomas was tested for mental competency.

According to Wrestling Inc, Thomas had a competency hearing today, but there is no update at this time regarding the court’s decision. Deville’s next date for her protection order is on October 7th.

Thomas broke into Deville’s home prior to SummerSlam in 2020. Mandy Rose was visiting her at the time and the two were feuding with a hair match scheduled going into SummerSlam. That hair match was later changed to a loser leaves WWE match when Deville’s legal team advised that she wouldn’t give the best impression if she showed up to court bald.

Sonya Deville has now returned to WWE television, but she is not wrestling. She now has a non-wrestling role as a WWE Official, but her time in the ring is not over. Unfortunately, her time in court due to this stalker trial isn’t over either.
