Rey Mysterio On Pressure To Win Tag Team Titles With Son Dominik

WrestleMania Backlash will give Rey and Dominik Mysterio a great opportunity to make history. If they can defeat The Dirty Dawgs then Rey and Dominik will become the first father/son Tag Team Champions in WWE history. That is a lot of pressure for Mr. 6-1-9.

During Talking Smack, Rey Mysterio opened up about the pressure on him to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on May 16th. He is putting a lot of that on his own shoulders to carry his team to victory.

“I’m going to speak for myself, but I feel a lot of pressure on my back because I want this dream to become a reality. The fact that we’ve been sharing the ring together for the past year has been incredible. But to have this opportunity right in front of us to become father and son champions, that’s just unbelievable. I feel that stress and that good pain on top of me. I’m sure that come Sunday, it’s going to feel much better.”

Rey and Dominik Mysterio have teased going for tag team titles in WWE in the past. Now they are circling back around to that idea. They were left off of WrestleMania, but now the father/son team will have a chance to make history one month later.
