John Cena is undoubtedly one one of the best Superstars to have ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. He is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of the company for well over a decade. He is currently busy with his life in Hollywood and hasn’t been seen in the company in over a year.

During the earlier years of his career, Cena was involved in a huge match with ECW veteran Rob Van Damn at ECW One Night Stand 2006, which saw RVD beat Cena for the WWE Title.

The match was particularly infamous for the hostility shown towards Cena, with many fans cussing him out and there was even a huge banner hanging from the balcony that stated: ‘If Cena wins we riot.’

While speaking to Metro, Paul Heyman talked about the infamous match, where he believed that John Cena loved every moment of his match against RVD, which included his loss as well.

“John Cena feeds off of the interaction with a live audience like very few people on the face of the planet in history ever have, ever could, ever would, or ever have the ability to generate that level of passion from a live crowd.”

“I think John Cena, to this day, loved every single micro moment of it,”

RVD was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame last month and as for John Cena, it is not known when he will be making his return to WWE. We hope it will be sooner rather than later.
