WWE SmackDown Sees Viewership Increase With Throwback Edition

WWE brought a Throwback Edition of the show to FOX this week. They only had two matches announced prior to the show, but the mystery of hyping this special episode got fans attention. How did the viewership turn out?

According to Showbuzz Daily, WWE Friday Night SmackDown garnered an overnight average of 2.157 million viewers with a .6 in the 18-49 demographic. Last week brought in 1.923 million viewers with a .5 in the 18-49 demographic. The previous week brought in an overnight average of 2.0415 million viewers. The also brought in a .5 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The Friday Night SmackDown after WrestleMania drew an overnight average of 1.9965 with a .5 in the 18-49 demographic.

The week prior, WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought an overnight average of 2.0795 million viewers. The week before that drew an overnight average of 2.036 million viewers. This was a bit up from the week before, but not by a ton.

The previous week drew an overnight viewership of 2.031 million viewers. The week before brought in 1.9455 million viewers and a .5 in the 18-49 demographic. The week prior to that drew 2.01 million viewers. They also captured a .5 in the 18-49 demographic.
