Triple H usually concentrates on the NXT brand, because that is his baby. He’s still around SmackDown and his influence is starting to be noticed backstage.
Ringside News exclusively reported that some key players were missing this week. Both Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey were absent and they were also missing a couple of writers.
A tenured member of the team told us that “Paul [Levesque] has been at Smackdowns lately.” It is also “now becoming a weekly thing.” Triple H has been helping with certain parts of the show, but “he does so discreetly.” That being said, “it looks like he’s helping a lot.”
Dave Kapoor was called up from NXT to help out with SmackDown this week. Triple H was also there to do what he could for the show. He is receiving a fair amount of praise for his contributions as well.
Triple H’s goal might be to eventually run WWE. We previously covered how Sin Cara called Triple H out for not helping him because he wasn’t one of his projects. If Triple H is behind something then he will make sure it gets the proper attention. Apparently, his influence backstage at SmackDown is beneficial, but he’s not making a big deal about it.
