This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was a very special episode as it featured the first-ever Blood & Guts match. The Inner Circle squared off against The Pinnacle in the match and it was nothing short of an all-out war as blood was spilled on both sides.
It seems the match really helped AEW Dynamite as it saw a massive surge in ratings, garnering 1.09 million viewers and becoming #1 on cable for the first time ever. Now it seems some top AEW stars have reacted to the huge increase in ratings.
AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks took to Twitter and reacted to the news by uploading a photo of Matt Jackson lying down in the ring watching Jon Moxley getting decimated by the Elite.
Apart from them, MJF also took to Twitter and also reacted to the great news. He simply used an emoji that was an indication of the Pinnacle’s rise to the top of the company. MJF was arguably the star performer in the Blood & Guts match and had one of the best moments in AEW’s history.
With next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite having a very stacked card, featuring a huge TNT Title match, we will have to see if the show will manage to maintain a million viewers or if it still slump again.
