AEW Revolution was a big event that was capped off by a lackluster explosion. That exploding barbed wire deathmatch really didn’t deliver as they promised. The company is still waiting on the official pay-per-view buy numbers for the event.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW will not know their traditional television pay-per-view buy numbers for Revolution until 60 days after the event. That is quite a wait, but they are not expecting the number to be incredibly high.

Those at AEW note regarding the Revolution television PPV buys, that they won’t know the number until 60 days after the event, but they are not expecting the number to be in the 71,000 range

AEW’s next pay-per-view event is Double or Nothing on May 30th. They have a few weeks to build toward that event. Hopefully, the main event won’t include a spot that goes terrible wrong and leaves fans chanting for a refund.
