X-Pac Comes Down On Macho Man A&E Documentary For Being Too Hard On Him

“Macho Man” Randy Savage received a spotlight in the form of an A&E documentary recently. This was part of WWE’s collaboration with the network. There were a lot of things said and they really came down on Savage in a big way. Sean Waltman didn’t appreciate it.

During Pro Wrestling 4 Life, X-Pac went into the A&E documentary. He didn’t like the fact that they were so hard on Macho Man. He’s not around to defend himself anymore and the two-time WWE Hall of Famer also didn’t understand how Bubba the Love Sponge got so much time during the special.

“Well, first of all, I really enjoyed the ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin one. I enjoyed the Roddy Piper one. I didn’t like it man. They went in hard on Mach. He’s not around to defend himself. He’s not around to say, ‘Hey, that’s not true.’ He’s not here man, and I just didn’t like it. I wasn’t a fan of it, and I don’t understand how Bubba the f*king Love Sponge ended up having so much air time.

“I was in Tampa back then, and they were hard on Mach over the airwaves in Tampa. It was f*cked up, and I’ve even been on the air with some of them and actually said, ‘You’re not going to talk sh*t about Mach while I’m here.’ They respected that. I love Mach. A lot of that stuff they said, it was obviously stuff everyone’s heard before. I don’t even want to go into it. I just didn’t think it was cool at all. I really was highly disappointed in that.”

“Macho Man” Randy Savage entertained millions during his life. He is sadly no longer with us, but his legacy has lived on. His time on earth wasn’t all happiness and the A&E documentary certainly brought that to the viewers’ attention. If you ask X-Pac, they might have done too good of a job at it.
