You never know what will happen when showing up to work for WWE. Mansoor can attest to that. He had no idea that this week would see his RAW debut, but that is exactly what went down.

Mansoor also ended his impressive winning streak that he’s kept since 2019. His loss to Sheamus was via DQ, but it was still a notch in the L column.

While speaking to TV Insider, Mansoor revealed that he found out about his big RAW debut on the day that it took place. He had no idea it would happen and he remarked about always staying on your toes around WWE.

“I found out the day of,” he revealed. “That’s the great thing about being a WWE superstar. When you go to work, you are kept on your toes. It’s exciting. I’ve been coming to the ThunderDome for the last two months doing Main Event. I think people have been taking a look at me and seeing if I’m ready. I was hoping this day would come.”

“A member of the production team on Monday came to me, shook my hand, and said, “Hey, welcome to the team.” I can’t tell you how happy that made me.”

Sheamus was pretty happy about ending Mansoor’s winning streak. Perhaps that means his feud with the RAW newcomer will continue. It is totally plausible to picture Mansoor getting to a spot where he is holding a title in WWE by the next time they head to Saudi Arabia. They reportedly have goals to make their way back to KSA sometime before the end of 2021.
