Mansoor made his main roster debut this week on Raw. He was seen shaking Adam Pearce’s hand during a backstage segment and he was suddenly in a match with Sheamus after that. The Celtic Warrior won that match via DQ, but a win is a win. This was also a big loss for Mansoor to take.

Mansoor hadn’t lost a match since 2019. His winning streak was a way to keep Saudi Arabia happy. Mansoor has also worked Saudi Arabian events where he is a tremendous babyface with those fans. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter made it pretty clear when it was noted exactly why Mansoor was kept clear from losses since August 2019.
The Mansoor winning streak, which is never referred to as much but he’s on Main Event almost every week winning and hasn’t lost a match since August 23, 2019, losing in Sanford, FL to Dominik Dijakovic is appease the benefactors in Saudi Arabia.
Mansoor had his moments with Sheamus on Raw, but the former WWE Champion carried most of the match with his offense. It was still an impressive first showing for Mansoor on Raw.
Sheamus tweeted out some photos of his match with Mansoor. He seemed to be very happy about the fact that he broke that winning streak of Mansoor’s. Sheamus didn’t get a clean pinfall victory, but he still racked up a notch in the winning column with that match regardless.
..had a streak THEN became a streak.. across the sole of me boot.. #USChampion #OpenChallenge
Humberto Carrillo jumped Sheamus to end that match, getting retribution for a backstage attack from previously in the program. Mansoor might have a bone to pick with Carrillo about that, but it appeared that Mansoor was about to eat a Brogue Kick just before Humberto jumped the Celtic Warrior.
