Tessa Blanchard is an incredibly talented pro wrestler, but her reputation might have created a situation where companies just aren’t interested in her. Stories about her backstage bullying and intimidation came out in a big way prior to her Impact Wrestling World Title win. One of those stories included Tessa calling a fellow wrestler the n-word and spitting in her face.
A report came out from SE Scoops saying that Tessa Blanchard and Daga are close to signing with AEW. Now multiple outlets have come out and refuted that report.
PW Insider went even further with their rumor killer. It was said that AEW has never discussed anything creatively for Tessa Blanchard, nor have they ever spoken to her about a deal at all.
We are told that the promotion has never made an offer to either Blanchard or Daga, nor have there been any conversations about potential creative for them.
It’s hard to imagine that Tessa Blanchard has never spoken to AEW, but that is apparently the case. Blanchard is also not on NXT’s radar as the new Diamond Mine idea has nothing to do with her.
We’ll have to see where Tessa Blanchard ends up at this point. The stories that would follow her to wherever she goes next might have created a scorched earth situation for the third generation pro wrestler.
