Tony Khan Might Not Let Kenny Omega Lose To Andrade

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up the fact that Andrade challenging Kenny Omega will likely mean a big pay cut for El Idolo. A logical aspect to sweeten the deal for him would be to win the AAA Mega Championship from The Cleaner.

It was noted that Andrade might win the AAA Mega Championship in some way, but there could be an issue. Kenny Omega’s status as AEW World Champion could cause him to hold onto that AAA title for longer. It was said that “I don’t think there’s any way that Tony Khan lets Kenny Omega lose until he loses the AEW Title.”
