John Silver is undoubtedly one of the most popular babyfaces in AEW right now. Before making his way to AEW, Silver competed in various promotions including WWE.

Silver was largely used as an extra in WWE and it seems he doesn’t have the best opinion of his time there. While speaking to  Joey Karni on The Angle Podcast, John Silver talked about the working environment in WWE.

Silver said that he was constantly walking on eggshells in WWE and working as an extra was simply awful there.

“It’s not a good feeling even though you’re happy to do it. There are plenty of people who are nice, but there’s also plenty that won’t even look at you like you better not even go near them. Like don’t contact them or they’ll bury you. It’s a little too much. In AEW, I like when people come up to me and say who they are and introduce themselves. You’re walking on eggshells constantly in WWE, and it’s really not a fun thing to do besides eat their catering. Doing extra work was awful there.”

Silver is currently recovering from an injury that he suffered during his TNT Title match against Darby Allin. We will have to see when he will be able to compete again.
