WWE has a lot of ideas right now, but it takes planning to make everything come together. The company has some big plans for NXT as the black and gold brand continues.

We previously reported how WWE and MLW are talking about a talent exchange deal. That would see NXT stars get some exposure on MLW television.

The idea of an EVOLVE-like NXT show isn’t new. The company already filmed a pilot episode for the new show concept. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is currently thinking that their new EVOLVE show could be a streaming-exclusive program.

There is also the idea of creating their own Evolve-like group as a weekly streaming show, but this would allow the guys to work on actual television and get more exposure than on Peacock and also seem like they are changing and modernizing.

They want to “alleviate the frustration of so many guys on the roster” who don’t get to wrestle. WWE realizes that they have some unhappy (and bored) NXT talent. Now they might get another vehicle to promote those stars. We will have to see what is going on when it comes to specifics. Right now it seems that there are even more plans for pro wrestling content.
