Daniel Bryan is a veteran in the pro wrestling business, having wrestled in various promotions all over the world before making his way to WWE. Daniel Bryan’s contract will be expiring soon and he had previously mentioned his desire to wrestle in other pro wrestling companies.
While speaking on the Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman talked about Daniel Bryan wanting to wrestle for other promotions. The WWE Hall Of Famer stated that it would be a win-win situation for both Daniel Bryan and WWE if he is allowed to work in other companies.
“That’s smart of him (Daniel Bryan) because he’s trying to preserve his relationship with the company and still be able to go out there and do things to satisfy himself at this stage of his life and career.”
“I think it would behoove the company to let him do that, honestly. I’m not saying, ‘Hey, go ahead and go main event an AEW pay-per-view’ or something, but if he wanted to go out and do his own thing and even produce it himself, good for him.”
Bryan will be facing off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title on tonight’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, where he put his career on the line. Should Bryan lose the match, it seems fans might just see him compete in other promotions eventually.
