WWE is shaking up many things backstage. Some people were fired and they have brought in a few new names. Jason Jordan also got a great promotion out of the situation.

Jordan has been promoted to the role of Lead Producer according to PW Insider. This comes after John Laurinaitis was moved to overseeing talent relations. It was reported that Jordan has been tapped to receive these additional responsibilities.

With John Laurinaitis moving into overseeing Talent Relations, there were also changes within the ranks of WWE Producers. Jason Jordan has been given a new role and larger responsibilities within the company, taking over Laurinaitis’ former role as Lead Producer, overseeing all the others at TV tapings.

Jason Jordan had to retire from the ring far before he ever planned. He experienced neck issues that required surgery. He still has not returned, but he was moved into a backstage role that he is continually thriving in.
