Charlotte Flair was suspended from WWE, but that hiatus didn’t last long at all. She was brought back the next week and this caused some controversy within the fan base.
While talking to WWE The Bump today, Charlotte Flair said that her WWE suspension provides her with a clean slate. She also addressed those who don’t like the idea that her suspension is over already.
When asked if Sonya Deville made the wrong decision, she said: “You can’t make everyone happy, you know. They made a smart business choice by putting me back on Monday Night RAW like I thought they would [laughs].”
Sonya Deville lifted Charlotte Flair’s WWE suspension after she was introduced as a WWE official. She said that since Flair paid her $100,000 fine and apologized to referee Eddie Orengo then The Queen may wrestle again. Flair promptly demanded an apology from Orengo in return.
Adam Pearce didn’t seem too thrilled about Charlotte Flair’s reinstatement, but there wasn’t much he could do after it was lifted. Now we will have to see how The Queen can continue mixing it up on Monday nights.
