Carmella is a second generation WWE Superstar, but some might not realize it. Her father was a wrestler, something that he mentioned on Total Divas in the past. Mella had a bit of a surprise when seeing an old clip of her father online.

Paul Van Dale wrestled as an enhancement talent for WWE back in the day. He didn’t have nearly the career in the ring that his daughter has, but he still made some memories.

Carmella saw an old clip of her father losing to Shawn Michaels. This match was ended by HBK’s signature elbow drop, and then he got the pinfall.

“Hi dad,” Mella tweeted out in reply to this tweet. She also included a waving hand emoji. It must have been cool for Carmella to see her father on her timeline like that, and in a rather unexpected way.
