AEW Makes Big Decision About Blood & Guts Match

AEW is presenting Blood & Guts next week. That May 5th event has been over a year in the making. The Inner Circle and Pinnacle will finally get to battle in a match that was initially cancelled due to the pandemic over a year ago. Last year had much different competitors against the Inner Circle as MJF’s stable has replaced The Elite.

During the parley this week between the Inner Circle and The Pinnacle, Sammy Guevara said that it doesn’t matter how many members of The Pinnacle he faces. He will start out the match and give the heels the advantage.

Tony Schiavone then confirmed that The Pinnacle have “won the parley.” They will get the advantage in the match, one typically akin to WarGames. We will know the official rules when AEW releases them. This makes sense as heels historically get the upper hand in WarGames matches.

We’ll have to see what AEW has planned for next week. They have a lot on the line and odds are the Blood & Guts match will be the only match of the night next week.
