Jim Johnston’s musical talents helped create iconic entrances that still stand the test of time throughout WWE history. He isn’t holding his breath about a WWE Hall of Fame induction, no matter how deserved it might be.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, Johnston revealed that he doesn’t believe a Hall of Fame induction is coming his way. If it was going to happen, then it would have taken place already the way he sees it.

“I think if they haven’t already, they’re not going to. It’s one of those pesky things where you don’t want to be petty about it. But it’s like you guys did fire me, but you want me to come back and put me over by doing the Hall of Fame. Would it be an honor? Sure. But at the same time, it would be uncomfortable. There are people there that I don’t want to see and don’t want to shake their hand. But it’s not a big aspect of my life now. But one of the positive things after doing WWE for so long is you get to write whatever you want.”

Johnston has commented in the past about how bizarre it is that he’s not in the Hall of Fame. Now it appears that he’s pretty much given up hope on that happening.

Jim Johnston was moved out of WWE when they brought in CFO$. The company has already started taking CFO$ tracks away as they moved away from that band as well. Now WWE has their own music group responsible for writing entrances. Things have certainly changed in WWE since Jim Johnston was around.
