Chelsea Green was among several WWE Superstars fired on April 15th as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. While many fans felt bad for her after the release, it seems she has drawn the ire of many after a recent incident on social media.

Chelsea Green recently used some fan-created art without giving credit for it. Due to this, Twitter user @Salsaboiii asked Green to give him credit for his work.

Salsaboiii stated that graphic design and artwork is his only source of independent income and he worked very hard on the one Green used.

Green not only did not credit him for the fan art, she simply said, “I deleted it,” before blocking him on Twitter.

lol so Chelsea Green REALLY doesn’t want to credit me. It’s cool that she deleted it after like 5 days I suppose? But like, who does this? I don’t believe I’m out of line at all here.

Several fans were disappointed at how Green handled the situation. Green posted an unrelated tweet shortly after and many fans blasted her.

Try to give artist credits! Be better and nice with people who follow your craft.

FYI Crediting an artist is incredibly simple and doesn’t expose you as a petty child during a time when you just got released and need to build a fan base.

give credit to the graphic designer instead of being rude and then blocking him for no reason.

We hope Chelsea Green will learn from this incident and make sure to credit independent artists. We will have to see which pro wrestling company she will go to next.
