WWE Hall Of Famers Edge and Kurt Angle were a huge part of the Attitude Era in the company and truly helped it reach new heights. They were two of the biggest stars in the company at that time and were also engaged in a longstanding feud that started the “You Suck” chants that Kurt Angle is known for.

While the chants first started as a way to insult Kurt Angle, it eventually became a sign of respect and is always associated with his WWE theme song.

Kurt Angle took to Instagram and uploaded a video, where he shared the origins of the “You Suck” chant. He also thanked Edge for starting the chants in a sarcastic manner.

“How the “You Suck” chants started. Thanks a lot Edge. #itstrue

The Rated-R Superstar saw the post and replied to it as he apologized to Kurt Angle for starting the chants and also commented on his own fashion choices at the time, hoping to make Angle feel better.

“Sorry Kurt. Love you. Makes you feel any better I’m wearing pleather pants and a wet spandex button up.”

Edge last competed at WrestleMania 37 in a triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Universal Champion in a losing effort.
