Mickie James is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as she competed for several years in WWE and other promotions. Mickie James was recently released as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts.
Despite being highly successful, it seems her time in WWE wasn’t always smooth from the looks of it. While speaking on GAW TV, Mickie James talked about her last couple of years in WWE.
James stated that it was ‘comfortably uncomfortable’ and that she was being pigeonholed into into a mold, which James didn’t want to do what all.
“But I honestly feel, in the last two years, I’ve been really, what was the term? Comfortably uncomfortable,” James said. “In the sense of like, I feel like I’ve been trying to be pigeonholed or fit into this little square mold of like ‘this is what you want me to be and this is what we want you to believe that you are.’ And I’m just not that. It’s just been a lot. It’s been heavy for the last two years. I feel like I’ve been in this little space.”
Mickie James recently made headlines after going public with receiving her belongings in a trash bag. The person responsible was subsequently fired from the company and WWE publicly apologized to James. James had also previously revealed what she wants to do after her WWE release as well.
