Chelsea Green was released from WWE, and that was rather unexpected. She might also run into an issue when it comes to her country of residence.

Green is a Canadian. She lives in Florida with Matt Cardona, but the two had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic. She’s not married and technically unemployed. As she spoke to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, this could be an issue.

Nobody hit the ground running during this crop of releases like Chelsea Green. She opened a PW Tees store and started a podcast. If she cant’ get a visa or a green card that makes the situation pretty difficult.

“When I was released, a lot of people were like ‘Hey you’re ok, you’re a good hustler.’ But I’m like, yeah but I’m Canadian. I have to get a Visa and a Green Card. I have to figure out a way to live here,” Green said. “I was released on Thursday night, and on Friday morning, Matt is on his way to Wisconsin. I texted him saying, ‘We need to get married, so you need to think about when that’s happening.’”

Chris Van Vliet is also Canadian and he realizes the struggles of visas and citizenship. He can 100% emphasize with her along with Renee Paquette, who claims that she stayed with WWE for so long because of visa issues.

Now Green will have to figure something out with the complicated process of citizenship if she wants to stay in the USA. She could also go ahead and marry Matt Cardona, but the two have been planning a ceremony that they haven’t been able to do yet. She also wants her family from Canada to be there for their big day.
