WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is undoubtedly one of the most in-ring performers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. Angle ended his in-ring career after in 2019 after losing to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 and has been enjoying life away from the ring since then.
While speaking during an ‘Ask Kurt Anything’ Q&A session on AdFreeShows.com, Kurt Angle claimed that Triple H asked him to conduct training sessions at the WWE Performance Center. Triple H apparently wanted Kurt Angle to visit the Performance Center and train developmental talents once a month.
Plans fell through but Angle remains hopeful that an offer of a similar nature will be given to him eventually.
“Well, I would consider doing it. It’s something that I enjoy doing. You know, Triple H offered me a job I believe too, you know, train wrestlers. He wanted me to come down once a month to NXT. Nothing transpired from it, but you know, maybe in the future, there might be some possibility. I like training people. I just don’t have a lot of time right now to do it. Believe it or not, even including in this pandemic, but I’m good at training people. I’m good at teaching people stuff.”
Kurt Angle had previously ruled out going to AEW as he is loyal to WWE and also has something planned with the company. We will have to see when Angle will make his return WWE.
