Who Fought Backstage For More Women On WWE WrestleMania Card

WWE added a women’s tag team turmoil match to WrestleMania 37’s first night pretty late into the planning process. There was one person backstage who really pulled for that match to happen.

According to Fightful Natalya was the one who pushed hard for a tag team turmoil match to make up for the fact that there was no Women’s WrestleMania battle royal this year.

WWE sources have indicated that Natalya pushed hard for the Tag Team Turmoil match to be included on WrestleMania, as to feature more women on the event.

The original plan was for WWE to run a #1 contender match on SmackDown prior to Mania. Nattie apparently pushed for that match to get a feature on WrestleMania. That’s exactly what happened.
