Tonight’s SmackDown will feature a match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with champions Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode defending against The Street Profits in the next chapter in their feud over the championships.
Also scheduled for tonight is a singles match between Rey Mysterio and Otis with Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable at ringside.
It should be interesting in seeing how things play out on tonight’s show.
SmackDown
SmackDown starts off with a recap of last Sunday’s Universal Championship match at WrestleMania, ending with Roman Reigns pinning both Edge and Daniel Bryan.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring accompanied by Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. Reigns picks up the mic and says he brought new viewers to SmackDown. Paul Heyman runs down the resumes of the wrestlers that Reigns defeated at WrestleMania. Reigns says that he called his shot and did everything that he said he was going to do, and that because of what he did nobody wants to face him, and that nobody is on his level. As Reigns goes to leave the ring, Cesaro makes his way out to the ring. Reigns and Cesaro have a stare down and as Cesaro goes to grab a mic, Reigns leaves the ring and walks to the back.

Back on the air where Cesaro joins Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville backstage. Cesaro says that he wants a match with Roman Reigns tonight.
Otis VS Rey Mysterio
The match begins with Otis immediately knocking Mysterio to the ground, Otis picks up Mysterio and hits him with a press slam before throwing him outside the ring. Mysterio tries to go to the top rope but is knocked down by Otis. Mysterio avoids Otis charging at him in the corner. Otis catches Mysterio in mid air and slams Mysterio to the mat. Otis misses a top rope dive as both men are down. Mysterio hits the 619, after Otis catches Mysterio in the air, Mysterio is able to counter into a pin for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Back live where Paul Heyman is interviewed backstage, where Heyman says that Reigns will accept Cesaro’s challenge and says that Cesaro is physically capable but is nothing more than a joke that will end tonight, and then says it will be Jey Uso wrestling Cesaro in the main event tonight
Sami Zayn makes his way out to the ring and claimed that he was once again screwed at WrestleMania, and he says that Logan Paul’s mind was poisoned by Kevin Owens, the fans and all of WWE, and that is the only reason he lost to Owens at WrestleMania. After Zayn calls out Owens, Owens makes his way out to the ring.

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn
As soon as the match starts Sami Zayn rollos outside the ring, Owens is able to grab Zayn and hits Zayn with strikes in the corner. Owens hits a lariat and a running senton. Zayn rolls out of the way of a cannon ball and Zayn starts to strike Owens on the mat. The two trade strikes in the corner, Zayn reverses an Irish whip to a kickbefore Owens counters and chops Zayn with Zayn on the top rope. Both men on the top rope where Zayn hits a sunset flip power bomb for a two count.

Back Live with both men on the top rope, Zayn misses a top rope dive and Owens hits a super kick for a two count. Owens hits a top rope swanton and gets a two count. Zayn rolls outside the ring and Owens runs after and catches him. Owens throws Zayn to the barricade and throws Zayn back to the ring. Zayn avoids a pop up power bomb before being hit with a knee to the head for a two count. Zayn once again rolls outside the ring and walks away from the ring as the referee makes the 10 count.
Winner by Count Out: Kevin Owens
After the match Owens immediately attacks Zayn and throws him back to the ring to hit Zayn with a stunner.
Apollo Crews is backstage celebrating his Intercontinental Championship victory where he says he would give a rematch to Big E but Big E is not there thanks to Commander Aziz and the Nigerian Nail.
The Street Profits make their way out to the ring to celebrate Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania victory.

SmackDown returns with The Street Profits in the ring. They say that tonight they will take the Tag Team Championships from Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. They cut to a video package recapping Bianca Belair’s victory at WrestleMania. Montez Ford introduces your new SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Beliar makes her way out to the ring wearing her new championship belt, she grabs the mic and says that she feels so blessed and that she never stopped believing that this moment was possible. Belair cites her family as inspiration and that everybody has their own “EST” in them. belair thanks Sahsa Banks for pushing her and that they both made history together. Belair says that we are just getting started creating history. Belair and The Street Profits hug in the center of the ring.
Sasha Banks is interviewed backstage where she shows off the scar that Belair left in their match before angrily storming off from the interview.
Bayley is now being interviewed backstage where she says Blair is not the type of champion people want, and that the only way to restore dignity to the championship is for her to take the title from Belair.

SmackDown Tag Team Championships
Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode VS The Street Profits
The championship match begins with Dolph Ziggler and Angelo Dawkins in the ring. Ziggler hits a dropkick and Dawkins answers with a right hand. Dawkins tags in Montez Ford who hits a dropkick of his own before quickly tagging Dawkins back in. After working Ziggler’s arm, Ford is tagged back in who hits a top rpe strike to Ziggler’s arm. Ziggler makes a tag to Robert Roode who is double teamed by The Street Profits and thrown to the outside as Dawkins & Ford play to the camera.

Back on the air with Dawkins and Roode in the ring. Dawkins hits a corkscrew elbow. Off a distractiomn from Ziggler, Roode hits a spine buster and gets a two count. Roode tags in Ziggler who swings the momentum to the champions. Roode and Ziggler make frequent tags and keep Dawkins far away from Ford on the apron. Dawkins hits a slingshot to send Ziggler to the corner. Both Ford and Roode are tagged in and Ford hits a big drop kick and then a lariat to an interfering Ziggler. Ford hits a back suplex and a moonsault for a two count. Ford makes a tag to Dawkins and Ford dives over the top onto both Ziggler and Roode. Ford hits a frog splash and Ziggler is able to run in and break up the cover. Ziggler makes a tag that Ford does not see. Ziggler hits a Zig Zag with Ford’s back turned to cover and get the three count.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
Cesaro is interviewed backstage, he says that Heyman is wrong about one thing, and says that he does belong in the ring with Roman Reigns and that he will beat Jey Uso tonight.

Natalya VS Shayna Baszler
The match begins with the to exchanging submission holds, Natalya attempts the sharpshooter early as Nia Jax pulls Baszler out of the way. Baszler works over Natalya’s arm with submissions. Baszler with a kick to Natalya’s head and covers for a two count. Baszler avoids knocking Nia Jax off the apron and in the hesitation Natalya is able to grab Baszler with a roll up for the three count.
Winner: Natalya

Jey Uso VS Cesaro
The match begins with a slam from Cesaro followed by Uso working Cesaro’s arm in the corner. Cesaro catches a kick from Uso before Cesaro hits a kick of his own.

Back on the air where Uso hits a Samoan Drop for a two count. Uso hits a strong uppercut and continues to work Cesaro’s arm. Uso attempts a suplex, Cesaro blocks and lifts Uso to hit his own suplex.
Cesaro hits a flying cross body and gets a two count. Uso slams Cesaro by his arm and then hits a super kick for a two count. Uso goes to the top rope where Cesaro catchs him with a drop kick. Cesaro goes to the top, Uso avoids the superplex and Cesaro comes right back with an uppercut and hits the superplex for a two count. Uso counters out of the Neutralizer, Cesaro hits a corkscrew uppercut off the middle rope for a two count. Uso hits a pop up neckbreaker for a two count. Cesaro hits a flurry of strikes and follows up with a lariat for a two count. Cesaro signals for the swing and slams Uso and starts to swing Uso around, after a few swings, Seth Rollins blindsides Cesaro to cause the DQ finish.
Winner by Disqualification: Cesaro
Rollins leaves the ring and screams to Cesaro that nothing is over yet as the show goes off the air.
