Taz is one of the true veterans in the world of pro wrestling, as he made a name for himself in ECW and WWE. Taz was one of the mainstays of ECW and an integral part of ECW’s first-ever pay-per-view, Barely Legal.

Barely legal took place 24 years ago at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of the most high-profile matches in the card saw Taz taking on Sabu for the first time in the company.

WWE’s Twitter handle recently acknowledged the historic day by releasing a video package on ECW Barely Legal, where Paul Heyman, Rob Van Dam, Lance Storm, Bully Ray, and Tommy Dreamer were tagged. However, Taz and Sabu weren’t tagged in the post.

Taz saw the tweet and decided to blast the company for failing to acknowledge him and Sabu in the post.

“It’s hilarious that you people didn’t tag @TheRealSabuECW or me but.. [eye roll emoji] too funny.”

Taz further criticized WWE for “re-writing history” and not acknowledging him in a video that featured Taz prominently.

“If your gonna do the typical re-write history in WWE eyes and not acknowledge (or tag me) a MAIN EVENT of the show than edit me outta the video clip. You don’t need to advertise ME for your subscription model.”

Taz and Sabu tore the house down at ECW Barely Legal and it saw Taz defeating Sabu in the first-ever match. It is not known why the company didn’t tag Taz, despute them tagging Tommy Dreamer who is currently working in Impact Wrestling.
