Rhea Ripley had an impressive showing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year as she was one of the final two competitors in the match. After that, many fans expected her to debut on Monday Night RAW soon. However, she didn’t make her debut until two months later in March.

This was despite the fact that Ripley was announced as the main roster call-up on February 22. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Ripley talked about her being absent from WWE television for two months.

Ripley revealed that she wanted to find the perfect time to make her main roster debut, which is why Ripley waited two months.

“Obviously I wanted to win the Royal Rumble but I’m very happy for Bianca that she got that spotlight that she really does deserve but that month after that, I was sort of just like I was sitting there at RAW in catering trying to like figure out what I’m going to do. Trying to pick my timing well to pretty much debut. So that’s what I had been doing that month, I was just sort of trying to find the right time to show the world exactly who I am.”

Rhea Ripley would go on to defeat Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship on Night Two of WrestleMania 37 and is now the top female Superstar on RAW. It seems she is likely to feud with Charlotte Flair and Asuka for the time being, with a match possibly being booked for WrestleMania Backlash.
