Stephanie McMahon has been working for WWE since getting out of college, and even before that. She has also been a part of many on-screen angles and she still appears from time to time. Her current contract as a performer is about to change.
WWE finally released their Schedule 14A documentation. They were about a month late releasing that important documentation to investors. Some notable points were found in that filing, including Shane McMahon’s 2020 WWE paycheck. You can click here for that information.
Stephanie McMahon is currently serving two roles for WWE. She is the company’s Chief Brand Officer, and she plays a role on television. Although her contract does have an extension written into it, The Billion Dollar Princess’ WWE performer contract is set to expire in about six months.
We have a booking agreement with Ms. McMahon which currently runs until October 6, 2021, and thereafter extends for successive one-year periods unless either party gives notice of nonextension at least 90 days prior to the expiration date. Under this agreement, Ms. McMahon is entitled to a minimum guaranteed annual payment of $750,000 which the Company is entitled to recoup from all payments under the agreement including pay for performing in live and televised events and royalties for merchandise sold including Ms. McMahon’s name and/or likeness.
That contract isn’t a bad one to have. $750,000 is a pretty good chunk of money to make, especially for the amount of time that Stephanie McMahon spends on Raw and SmackDown nowadays.
