WWE’s quest to lock down any bit of intellectual property they can continues, and they have registered a new trademark that is raising a lot of questions.

According to Heel By Nature, WWE registered a trademark for “Commander Azeez” on April 7th. This was entered into the database on April 10th.

It’s unclear what WWE is going to do with the Commander Azeez name. It appears to be a Superstar name, but there is no indication who will receive that name.

WWE also registered a trademark for the “No Mercy” pay-per-view along with this new filing. Obviously they have something planned for that new name. Stay tuned.
