AEW Dynamite Results for April 7, 2021

Earlier today the Inner Circle arrive. Adam Page’s music plays to start the first match of the evening. The Acclaimed are out next, Max Caster raps on Hangman.

Adam Page vs Max Caster

Page big boots Bowens, attacks Caster with stomps and kicks in the corner. Page chops Caster and a big lariat, Caster reverses a suplex, but Page hits a fall away slam and a suplex for a 1 count. Caster with strikes in the corner. Page hits a big boot. Page hits a senton for a 2 count. Caster regroups on the outside, Page drives him into the barricade.

Page gets in the face of Bowens, Casters hits a dropkick while Page is distracted. Page throes Caster to the apron, then hits a fist drop and a dive to the outside. Page with a chop on the outside, Caster throws Page into the barricade, Page drops Caster on the barricade and hits a clothesline. Caster drives Page into the ring post, Bowens throws him into the barricade shoulder first while the ref is distracted. Caster goes to work on the shoulder, 2 count. Pages tries to fight back with chops but Caster gets him down in submission.

Page fights out and hits a huge spinebuster. Page with a clothesline and hits an exploder suplex, 2 count. Page goes for a deadeye on the apron, Caster fights out. Strikes back and forth on the apron. Page his an enziguri on the apron. Pages goes to the top, Bowens distracts him and Caster hits a Superplex, then locks in an armbar. Page hits a huge lariat, Bowens throws the boombox to Caster but Page intercepts, while the ref is distracted Bowens hands Caster a chain, Caster hits Page with the chain, 2 count! Page goes for the buckshot, Bowens stops him, Pages with a moonsault on Bowens, then finally hits the buckshot lariat on Caster for the victory.

Hangman Page wins.

Page celebrates and throws some beers to the crowd on National Beer Day!

Tony Schiavone is in the ring, introducing Death Triangle. Tony says they are the Number 1 contenders, the title match is next week. Orange Cassidy interupts with Chuck and Trent. Orange says its nice to see Death Triangle in the ring again. Video plays of Death Triangle attacking Orange at Revolution and Dynamite in the past. Chuck says they still remember. Penta calls them crazy. Pac says they want a shot at the Tag Titles, but they are far from worthy. Trent says they have more tag team wins than anybody in the company. Trent says they are only out here to give them a heads up, the boys are back in town, with an alien now.

Commentary runs down tonight’s card. Inner Circle’s return is up next.

Judas plays to bring out the Inner Circle, the crowd sings. Jericho says they sound great tonight. The inner Circle has a lot to say after the break.

Jericho says the Inner Circle is back in black. Jericho says the Pinnacles beatdown taught them a lot, says they made a lot of bad decisions lately and they apologise to all of you. Jericho says he isn’t smart at certain things, like high school chemistry, but he is smart in pro wrestling. He brought MJF into the Inner Circle to keep him under his thumb. He wanted to suck the life out of him and they were ready to kick his ass. Makes funs of MJF spray tan. Says MJF is at the pinnacle of the wrestling business. Says MJF cant wait, but he has big shoes to fill, he can be better than Avalon, or Nakazawa, Says MJF stoles his scarf gimmick. Says MJF would run to the back to see what peoples thought, that is called being a mark and he is a mark for himself. MJF will never be better than Chris Jericho.

Jericho says Blanchard is nothing more than a third string member of the Four Horseman. FTR are interchangeable. Wardlow is so stupid he need to strip naked to count to 21. Inner Circle likes to fight, they will form a human centipede from the Pinnacle. May 5th, Pinnacle vs Inner Circle in a Blood and Guts Match.

Dasha is with Christian Cage. Cage says last week was the culminated of a year of grinding to get back what he lost years ago. He loved every second of it. cage says you have to bring it up a notch, he makes wrestling level up. Tazz interrupts and says he has a team of men that could help him, he wants Christian to be part of Team Tazz. Tazz says he should sleep on it.

Godzilla vs Kong – Jurassic Express vs Bear Country video package. Jurassic Express make their way to the ring. Bear Country are out next.

Jurassic Express vs. Bear Country

Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy drive Bear Country out of the ring, Jungle Boy with dives to the outside. Bear Country catch him on the third dive but Luchasaurus dives on top of all of them. Bear Boulder muscles Luchasaurus to the corner. Bronson with strikes in the corner, Tag to Boulder, Luchasaurus fights out of the corner and tags in Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus misses a crossbody and Jungle Boy hgets hit with a powerbomb.

Picture in picture. Bear Country takes the advantage. Bronson with headbutts and Jungle Boy kicks out at 2. Bronson with an elbow. Tag to Boulder, Boulder stands on Jungle Boy, and hits a backbreaker. Elbow to the back and a big back body drop on Jungle Boy. Bronson tags in, Jungle Boy fights out of the corner, Bear Country stop the tag but Jungle Boy rolls through into the tag, Luchasaurus runs wild and huge strikes and a german suplex.

Luchasaurus goes for a double suplex but they fight out, Luchasaurus with strikes to both men. Boulder with a headbutt on the top rope then a big superplex, 2 count as Jungle Boy breaks the count. Jungle Boy with a springboard DDT, 2 count. Bear Count with a double canon ball on Luchasaurus, 2 count. Luchasaurus with a tail whip, Boulder thrown out of the ring, Bronson gets chokeslammed by Luchasaurus, then a moonsault for the victory.

Jurassic Express win.

QT Marshall says ever since the beginning of his friendship with Cody he has done all the work. Cody knew he wouldn’t amount to shit alone. QT says he has surrounded himself with men. Agogo says he is mainstream. Solow will not be known as somebody’s boyfriend. QT says this is his factory.

Tony Schiavone introduces Sting. Jake the Snake interrupts, asks where is his gerbil friend? Archer takes the mic, says he is a sick son of a bitch, he is sick of the agenda in AEW, he works main event and then goes away again and again. Says its his time, Sting! Sting takes the mic, says zip up his mouth, he is in full agreement, he doesn’t understand why he goes away, tells Jakes to tell him how to do it. Sting says Archer is main event material. Tell Jake to channel it all and he will get all the main events. He has it in him so go do it.

Team Tazz backstage, Starks says they got the W last night. Tazz says they need to be smart, they have Christian on the table.

Darby Allin makes his way to the ring with Sting. JD Drake is already in the ring.

TNT Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) vs. JD Drake

Darby and Drake lock up, Darby powered to the corner, Darby dodges strikes and hits a drop kick onDarke, Drake with a clubbing blow to the back. Darby rolls out of the ring, challenges Drake to join him outside, Darby with a tope suicida on Drake, Nemeth is at ringside, distracting Darby, Drake with a shoulder block. Sting intimidates Nemeth at ringside. Drake with a senton. Sting chases Nemeth out of the building.

Drake with a body slam, 2 count. Big right hand from Drake, chop to the chest. Drake with more clubbing strikes and locks in a sleeper. Darby fights to his feet, Drake hits a backdrop. Darby with slaps across the face, Drake welcomes more. Drakes with a leg lariat from the top, 2 count. Darby with shots to the ribs, Drake bounces him of the ropes and hits a huge right hand. Drake misses a cannonball on the barricade. Darby with a senton from the top to the outside.

Back in the ring, Drake with kicks to the back in the corner. Drake with a huge cannonball. Vader bomb for a 2 count. Drake misses a moonsault from the top, Huge strikes on the top rope, Darby bites Drakes fingers, hits an avalanche code red, then a coffin drop for the victory.

Darby Allin wins.

Butcher and Blade attack Darby after the match. Hardy Family Office are out, Sting and the Dark Order chase them off. Tay Conti attacks the Bunny. Referees break them up.

Marvez is backstage with Jericho, MJF and the Pinnacle attack Jericho, they drag Jericho to the ring, MJF strangles Jericho with the scarf. FTR hits the spike piledriver, Inner Circle are locked in a locker room, they try to break through the door. Mike Tyson comes out!

Tyson rips off his shirt and lays in punches to Spears, chasing off the Pinnacle. Inner Circle finally run down. Tyson and Jericho shake hands.

Schiavone is backstage with Britt Baker. Baker says give the people what they want, a title match for the Doctor. Says the ranking system is “bleep”. Says she will fix the broken system. They will the the Doctor getting her wins up on Dynamite, Dark and Elevation.

The Bunny enters with the Hardy Family Office. Tay Conti is out next with the Dark Order.

The Bunny (w/Matt Hardy, The Butcher & The Blade) vs. Tay Conti (w/Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, 10 & -1 “Brodie Lee Jr.”)

Conti and Bunny hits strikes back and forth, Bunny drives Conti into the corner. Conti catches a kick and hits a shoulder capture suplex. Big pump kicks from Conti. Bunny drops Conti on the apron. Bunny with a suplex on the outside. Bunny with a shotgun dropkick into the barricade.

Picture in picture. Bunny dominates with strikes, knees to the gut, and a knee lift, 2 count. Conti with an inside cradle for the 2 count. Bunny with a 2 count of her own. Bunny with a cobra clutch on the ground, Bunny with stomps on Conti, punishing the arms and upper body. Locks in the straightjacket submission. Conti tries to fight out but Bunny hits the knee to the gut. Bunny skips around the ring. Conti hits judo throws and a spinning back breaker. Conti misses a running knee, Bunny with a kick to the gut for a 2 count. Shida with with the Dark Order at ringside.

Conti with forearm strikes, Hardy distracts Conti on the apron, Bunny gets distracted too, Conti hits the TayKO Bunny kicks out at 2. Bunny with a gillotine over the top rope, then takes a cheap shot on Shida. Bunny hits Conti with the Kendo Stick, Shida takes away the Kendo Stick, Conti hits a Superplex, then the hammerlock DDTay for the victory.

Tay Conti wins.

Conti celebrates with -1 and the Dark Order.

Omega and the Good Brothers are out first. The Young bucks are out next. Bucks and Omega argues in the ring as Moxley’s music plays. Moxley comes from the parking lot.

Trios Match: Jon Moxley & AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers (w/Don Callis)

Matt and Anderson start the match. Callis taunts Matt from the outside. Omega tags in, gets in the face of Matt. Lock up, Nick tags in. Omega controls the arm, side headlock, shoulder tackle. Nick with a huricanrana. Anderson tags in, Nick with an arm drag, dropkick to Omega, Bucks with double dropkick and Moxley sends him out of the ring, a trio of dives to the outside.

Picture in picture. The Bucks work over Andersons arm. Moxley tags in, kicks to the chest, Matt tags in, Gallows tags in with clubbing blows. Omega tags in working over the arm. Anderson tags in, locks in a sleeper. Matt fights out but Anderson hits chops to the chest, Matt knocks Gallows off the apron, tags in Moxley, Moxley runs wild, clotheslines to Anderson, Moxley nosells Anderson strikes, German suplex, to Anderson, German suplex to Omega and Gallows, Anderson guillotines Moxley over the rope.

Gallows works over Moxley. Headbutt to the back. Clubbing body shots to Moxley. Moxley with a swinging neckbreaker. Nick tags in, knocks Omega of the apron, rising kick in the corner, misses a splash, stomp from the top, backstabber to Anderson. Kick to Gallows, Anderson with a spinebuster. Matt tags in, Omega begs off, Matt with a hip toss, back body drop, fakes a superkick and hits a DDT. Matt cant bring himself to superkick Omega. Omega slaps Matt across the face, Matt finally starts to fight Omega.

Gallows with a kick, Nick with a missile dropkick, superkick to Anderson, Omega with a snap dragon suplex. Omega with another dragon suplex. Moxley with a lariat, Matt with a piledriver, 2 count. More bang for your buck for the 2 count. Anderson sent to the outside, Nick hits escalara on the outside. The Bucks cant hit the BTE Trigger. Moxley tells them to fight. Moxley tags himself in, hits the paradigm shit on Omega, another paradigm shift, then a rear naked choke, Bucks hits superkick on Moxley.

Kingston comes out to help Moxley, Good Brothers beat him down, hit the magic killer on the ramp. Magic Killer to Moxley, Omega covers Moxley for the victory.

Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers win.

The Young Bucks reluctantly celebrate with Omega and the Good Brother. Good Brother hold up Moxley for the Bucks, Bucks hit the superkick. Dynamite ends as the Young Bucks join Omega and the crowd chants “You Sold Out”
