There was a time when it wouldn’t feel like WrestleMania without “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Times have obviously changed.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Steve Austin confirmed that he won’t be at WrestleMania 37. In fact, WWE didn’t even reach out to him about attending the event this year. He’s okay with that and has hopes for the next couple of years.

“They didn’t reach out to me this year. I think they got their hands full with what they’re doing. I think it only makes sense for me to come back maybe in Texas or LA. It’d be great to go back to Dallas. So we’ll see what happens there, but I’m fine sitting at the house watching this one.

“We’ve been trying to move out of LA and move permanently over here to Nevada. So we’ve had a ton of stuff going on. I’ll be watching. I’m okay not being there.”

The Rock and Steve Austin won’t be at WrestleMania this year. There has been no sign of The Undertaker popping in either. Hulk Hogan will be a part of the event as co-host with Titus O’Neil, but that choice also drew a considerable amount of backlash from fans.

There is always next year for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to attend WrestleMania. He won’t be in Tampa on April 10th or 11th.
