Mohammad Anwar was killed in Washington D.C. last Tuesday when two girls, aged 13 and 15, allegedly used a taser on him during a botched car theft. A GoFundMe account was opened for Anwar’s family and Chris Jericho donated in a big way.

In heartbreaking video footage of the attack, Anwar can be heard yelling, “this is my car!” and then someone hit the gas pedal. The car went down the block and crashed, killing him.

Le Champion chipped in $2,500 to the family of the slain Uber Eats driver. While speaking to TMZ, Jericho said,

“Just the feeling of terror he must’ve had being stuck halfway out of the car as the thieves … mere children … hit the gas. Something out of a horror movie.”

“I just thought the whole situation was terrible and it really hit me hard.”

“It’s not much, but it’s the most I could do to try and bring some light into a dark situation.”

This isn’t the first time that Chris Jericho has donated big money to a cause. He also dropped thousands of dollars on Donald Trump’s re-election campaign despite not being a political person.

At this time, both teen suspects in this crime have been charged with felony murder and armed carjacking. They are currently incarcerated and awaiting trial.
