WWE’s Friday Night show on Fox has quickly become some fans’ favorite main roster show. Roman Reigns’ tenure as Tribal Chief and the other storylines on the blue brand have helped create some compelling stories and Daniel Bryan has been a part of that.
Daniel Bryan is also on the writing team for SmackDown. Ringside News recently ran an exclusive about how much writing he actually does.
While speaking to Talk Sport, Daniel Bryan mentioned the improvements that WWE has made to SmackDown in recent memory. He said that it’s cool to see how great the brand has become.
“It is cool seeing how great SmackDown has become and I also must say, part of that, that has nothing to do with me, is from someone who just sees performance different in the ThunderDome to how I ever would have thought it, that brings it to a whole new level is Roman Reigns. The character work and the way that he’s worked since returning and being in the ThunderDome I think has improved the quality of our television a great deal.”
Daniel Bryan has an opportunity to become WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania as he enters into a triple threat match with Edge and Roman Reigns. We’ll have to see how things pan out, but Daniel Bryan is likely going to remain a pivotal part of the blue brand’s angles for a long time to come.
