Adam Cole & Shawn Michaels Dream Match Might Be A Possibility

WWE doesn’t like to promote matches that they know won’t be delivered. Shawn Michaels has already made it clear that he doesn’t want to have another WrestleMania match, but he didn’t say anything about TakeOver.

Shawn Michaels appeared on WWE NXT this week to slide a ladder into the ring in front of Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar. That seemingly made their Cruiserweight Title match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver a ladder match. On his way out, HBK had a small stare-down with Adam Cole.

WWE NXT’s official Twitter account sent out a photo of Cole and Michaels staring each other down. This was followed by a second tweet two days later to bring attention to this small moment once again.

We’ll have to see what’s in the cards. Adam Cole is already booked against Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Shawn Michaels is always around NXT so we might eventually see this dream match go down.
