It’s Monday night and you know what that means: a brand new episode of WWE RAW for March 22nd, and Ringside News has you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.
Start time for WWE RAW is at 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.
Tonight’s RAW will feature all the fallout from last night’s Fastlane as we head straight towards WrestleMania next week! Last night Drew McIntyre bested Sheamus in a No Holds Barred match, and now McIntyre sets his sights firmly on the WWE Champion, the All Mighty Bobby Lashley.
Of course, tonight is going to be a massive episode of RAW because we also have the debut of the Nightmare Rhea Ripley – who could immediately slot into the title picture against Asuka. Much like the Empress, Riddle is in new of a new challenger for the United States Championship. Shane McMahon completely avoided Braun Strowman last night but that feud is far from over. Retribution are no more and where does that leave the gorup? And The Fiend has returned with a brutal new look.
So yeah, WWE has a lot of ground to cover and a lot of storylines to start building. We want to hear your thoughts below, and remember to hit the refresh button to stay up to date. Enjoy the show!
This week’s RAW opens with the WWE Champion, the All Mighty Bobby Lashley coming to the ring for a huge match!
The match gets underway and Lashley takes Sheamus down to the mat with a front facelock. Sheamus forces Bobby to the corner and the referee breaks them apart. They lock-up again and Sheamus takes the wrist and grinds the Champion down. Sheamus kicks Lashley and hits the ropes but Bobby leap frogs him, only for Sheamus to drop him. Sheamus beats Lashley in the corner but the All Mighty comes right back with a snap suplex. Lashley applies a rear chinlock but Sheamus quickly fights up.
Lashley catches Sheamus with a neckbreaker for a one-count, then goes to a headlock. Sheamus elbows himself free but Lashley drills him with a knee and some right hands, then tosses Sheamus over the ropes to the apron where the Celtic Warrior snaps his neck down on the top rope. Sheamus grabs Lashley for the Beats of the Bodhran and now we see Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander come to ringside. Cedric gets on the apron to distract the referee and Lashley looks confused, then Shelton drops Sheamus on the floor.

Back live and Lashley has Sheamus down in a submission in the middle of the ring. Sheamus breaks away, only to get caught with a powerslam for a two-count. Cedric Alexander gets on the apron again and this time Lashley tells him to get down and leave him alone, then Sheamus rolls him up for two. Sheamus then side-steps Lashley and he goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Sheamus gets Lashley on the apron and batters him with the Beats of the Bodhran and the Champion falls to the floor.
Sheamus goes up top and dives onto Lashley with a flying clothesline, then gets him back in the ring and hits another for a near-fall. Sheamus tries to lift Lashley but the Champion slides down and drills some forearms into Sheamus’ back. Sheamus counters a suplex and hits a big knee to the face for a near-fall. Sheamus looks for the Brogue Kick but Lashley avoids it. Sheamus elbos Lashley, then Cedric distracts Sheamus, allowing Lashley to hit a spinebuster. Lashley applies The Hurt Lock and Sheamus taps.
After the match Lashley is celebrating when Alexander and Shelton drag Sheamus out of the ring and beat him down. Lashley doesn’t look amused but doesn’t stop it either, so out comes Drew McIntyre and he slams Benjamin into the barricade, then tosses Cedric over it. McIntyre gets in the ring and into Lashley’s face but MVP stays between them to keep it from getting physical. McIntyre puts his hands behind his back and begs Lashley to hit him but MVP gets his man out of the ring.

Shelton and Alexander are walking backstage when Lashley confronts them and asks them why they stuck their nose in his business. They say they’re all a team and Lashley says he doesn’t need or want their help. MVP explains that they made it look like Bobby couldn’t beat Sheamus by himself. It was embarassing. Just like it was embarassing when they lost the RAW Tag Team Championships. They’re embarassing The Hurt Business.
We see a video package of the Randy Orton/Alexa Bliss/Fiend feud, going back to the inferno match and all the way up to last night where The Fiend returned with a terrifying new look. Later tonight Orton will “summon” The Fiend.
The RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka, makes her way to the ring. She’ll be in action after the break.

Asuka looks for a superplex but Peyton fights her off, then hits a double stomp to the back for a near-fall. Asuka drops Peyton and applies an armbar but Peyton is able to grab her hands and roll over, only for Asuka to transition to the Asuka Lock and Royce taps.
As soon as the bell rings and Asuka is handed her title, the Nightmare Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she stomps her way to the ring! Rhea grabs a microphone and smiles at Asuka. Ripley says Asuka is one of the greatest Champions in WWE history, she proved herself. And last she checked Charlotte Flair was out here challenging Asuka to a WrestleMania match while Asuka had no teeth. But now Charlotte is gone, “recovering from Covid”. So Ripley extends the challenge for a WrestleMania match for the RAW Women’s Championship. Asuka snatches the microphone and speaks in Japanese. She says Ripley isn’t ready for her…but she accepts.
Drew McIntyre is backstage and Adam Pearce approaches him backstage and says his match last night was great. McIntyre says him and Sheamus beat each other hard last night, the kind of beating that, if they gave it to half the roster they’d turn to dust. Pearce agrees and tells Drew that Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin want to face him in a handicap match tonight. McIntyre says it wouldn’t be very sensible for him to accept this close to WrestleMania, however he’ll do just that if Pearce can agree that if he wins, Shelton and Cedric are banned from ringside at WrestleMania. Pearce agrees.

Kofi asks Woods rhetorically if two men have to become a team before winning the Tag Titles, yet AJ and Omos are not a team. They make fun of AJ’s height and say he hides behind Omos. Woods says Styles will drag Omos down and cost him matches. Kingston says Styles doesn’t even know Omos and asks him questions about his personality and AJ doesn’t know any answers. Shane accepts and says Braun can choose the stipulation. He’s going to win no matter what, because Braun is stupid.

The Viper, Randy Orton comes to the ring with a black bag in his hand. Orton says it seems like only yesterday when he watched The Fiend burn. But apparently he didn’t do the job because he could smell the rotting flesh, and then there he was. He isn’t sure what he saw but it was an abomination. So tonight he brings this all to an end. There will be no more Alexa Bliss, there will be no more Fiend. “Tonight, the bullshit comes to an end.”
