AEW Dynamite Results for March 10, 2021

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. AEW Dynamite will go down tonight and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.

Dynamite is opening with the Matt Jackson/Fenix match! Fenix and The Young Bucks make their entrance.

Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix

A lock up to start, the crowd chants “Lets go Fenix”. Matt gets the armbar which Fenix reverse into his own, Matt reverses into a snapmare. SCU are watching from the crowd. Matt offers a test of strength then kicks Fenix in the gut. Fenix with a slap to the chest. Fenix with a lucha armdrag and then feigns a suicide dive, then hits a hurricanrana through the ropes.

Fenix with a plethora of dives to the outside. Pac watches on menacingly. Fenix throws Matt back in the ring and locks in a sleeper with a body scissors. Superkick from Fenix. Chops in the corner from Fenix, Both men end up on the top ropes exchanging chops which ends with Matt delivering a powerbomb off of the top rope. 2 count. Matts ribs are hurt. On the ouitside Matt drives Fenix into the ring apron. A senton outside in from Matt, 2 count.

Matt continues to work the back. Fenix fights out with strikes to the gut, Matt hits a casadora. Matt continues to work the back and right hands in the corner. Fenix hits a kick and drives Matt into the turnbuckle and a dropkick. Fenix with a cutter. Strikes back and forth, Fenix with a 2 count. Fenix with a chop to the face, goes for the tightrope walk penalty kick, missing and Matt hits a destroyer in the ring, and then another destroyer on the outside. The ref counts with Fenix is down, gets in at 9. Matt with an elbow from the top rope, 2 count. Matt locks in a sharpshooter. Fenix gets to the ropes.

Matt tries to lock in another sharpshooter, Fenix gets out and hits a baseball slide on Nick, accidentally. In retaliation Matt hits a superkick on Pac. Strikes back and forth, Fenix hits a back elbow and Matt hits a superkick and another one, then Fenix kips up and hits a superkick of his own. Double down. Crowd chants “this is awesome”. Chops back and forth, both men hits a superkick at the same time, Fenix with a tombstone piledriver for the victory.

Fenix wins.

Commentary runs down tonight’s card. Cody Rhodes in action next. Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley are in a bar. Eddie explains he had anxiety from his past, that’s why he passed out on Sunday. He tells Kenny to look at the fire, and that is his future. Moxley makes fun of the bomb. Says he did get his buddie back. They bicker, and Moxley says he’s glad he and Eddie didn’t get blown up. Moxley says if Kenny and the Good Brothers have a weapon, next time they better use it.

Cody Rhodes grand music plays as he makes his way to the ring with Arn Anderson. Cody gives his weight belt to a child in a wheelchair at ringside. Already in the ring is Seth Gargis

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Gargis

Cody gets an armbar, Gargis reverses and Cody gets a forearm strike. Cody hits a powerslam and locks in a figure 4. Gargis taps.

Cody Rhodes wins.

Tony Schiavone enters to ring to interview Cody. Arn points at his watch. Tony asks about Cody’s injured shoulder. Pentagon interrupts from the spanish announce table before Cody can say much. Pentagon has a translator. with him, Penta tells the translator to say Pentagon is a 1000 times better than Cody. Pentagon says if Cody is the prince of pro wrestling, then Penta is the lord of lucha libre. Penta says Cody lost at Revolution, the translator says he is lucky Penta didn’t focus on his shoulder on Sunday, because if he had, Cody wouldn’t be able to pick up his new born baby. Cody races to Pentagon and they brawl in the crowd, the brawl gets broken up by everybody at ringside.

Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy are at an arcade. They ask for one more match, if they lose, Chuck with be Miro’s butler forever. The arcade machines will be at ringside and they are going to put Miro and Kips head through every one of them.

Commercial Break.

Tony Schiavone brings out Sting. Sting says Darby is a dangerous man, he puts his body on the line every single night. Combines with the Stinger that means they get the win. Lance Archer interrupts. Archer says he doesn’t need a ladder match to proves he’s the face of the revolution. says if they wont give him time, then he’ll take it. Tony says Sting was phenomenal on Sunday, Sting says see you in the next one.

Dasha is backstage with QT Marshall and Lee Johnson. QT says he isnt worried about what happened on Sunday when he eliminated himself from the battle royal, he is just here for Lee Johnson.

All Ego Ethan Page makes his way to the ring. Page says he is annoyed at sharing the spotlight on Sunday. Lee Johnson makes his way to the ring accompanied by QT Marshall.

Ethan Page vs. Lee Johnson

Page with a kick to the gut and a shot to the back, Johnson showcases his speed ending with a big dropkick. Page with kicks in the corner and Johnson floats over a suplex, Page with the clothesline. Johnson with an elbow and a kick, Page with a chop in the corner and a shoulder block. Page celebrates while Johnson is down.

Picture in picture. On the outside, Page drive Johnson into the barricade, Page with a backbreaker off the barricade, back in the ring, Page takes the advantage. Page with a swinging backbreaker for the 2 count. Johnson gets some shots to the gut but Page takes him down with a forearm. Page with a waistlock and shots to the back, really working on the injured back. Johnson with a hanging neckbreaker, then a blue thunder bomb. Johnson takes off his wrist tape and hits Page with some right hands. On the top rope, Page hits a body slam, then Page hits a spingboard cutter for the 2 count.

Johnson goes for a leapfrog and appears to injure his knee, Page hits a big boot. Johnson goes to QT Marshall who doesn’t react. Back in the ring, Page hits a Razors Edge. 3 count.

Ethan Page wins.

Page continues to attack Johnson after then bell, Dustin Rhodes makes the save while QT leaves.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Adam Page. Page reveals he’s bought a new lawnmower as well as a bunch of other stuff with Matts money. Dark Order come to celebrate with him, they drive off in the lawnmower leaving “5” alone.

Commercial Break.

Tony Schiavone tries to introduce Christian Cage, but Kenny Omega’s cleaners come out to do their dance. Omega comes out all smiles accompanied by Callis and the Good Brothers. Callis says your not going to hear from the brand new signee because he and Omega call the shots around here. Callis calls Omega the king of the deathmatch. Says it all went according to plan, Omega says maybe not everything, talking about the explosion. Callis says he wont confirm or deny weather they had anything to do with the crappy bomb. Says they make history and took away Moxley’s big moment. says they took away Eddie and Moxley’s moment. says they make Mox and Eddie look like a pair of idiots.

Omega says he’s getting goosebumps thinking about what could have been if they had blown up. Kenny say Eddie dry humping Moxley while sparklers went off is a memory he will never forget. Eddie Kingston comes out, Callis says he had Eddie working for him in Impact, Callis says he saw something in Kingston, so why did he fire him? Callis says just when he is about to grab the brass ring, he somehow screws it up. Callis makes fun of Eddie at Revolution. Callis says becasue he likes him, he will give Kingston a chance, he will give him 10 seconds to get out of the ring. The countdown plays and Kenny and Callis dry hump each other, making fun of Kingston. Kenny asks what he hopes to accomplish? Kenny gives him a free shot, Kingston punches him, the Good Brothers attack, Moxley makes the save, attacking the good brothers.

Christian Cage’s music plays. He comes out poses to the crowd and points at Kenny Omega. Christian and Kenny stare down each other in the ring, Omega offers the handshake, goes of a cheap shot, Christian ducks under and tries to hit the killswitch, Omega wriggles out of the ring, Christian picks up the AEW World Championship while Omega goes mad at ringside.

Commercial Break.

Dr Britt Bakers makes her entrance. Nyla Rose is next accompanied by Vickie Guererro. Maki Itoh sings her way to the ring. The other wrestlers brawl while Itoh continues to sing on the stage. Funny! Shida tries to attack Itoh but Itoh ducks under and hits her with the mic.

Britt Baker, Maki Itoh, & Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami, & Thunder Rosa

Itoh goes for the headbutt but Shida moves, Itoh with a hip attack in the corner. Shida powers out of the corner. Shida takes Itoh down and tags in Ryo. Ryo with chops in the corner. Thunder Rosa and Nyla Rose tag in. Rose with kicks to the lower body. Forearm strikes back and forth Vickie distracts Rosa and Nyla attacks.

Picture in picture. Itoh dances on the apron. Nyla with a suplex and Itoh hits the diving headbutt for a 2 count. Itoh with a headlock. Baker tags in, works on Rosa arm in the corner. Nyla tags in and hits a snapmare on Rosa. Rosa with elbow strikes and a neck breaker, Ryo and Baker tag in, shoulder tackle from Ryo and a spear. Bakers gets attacked in the corner by all three opponents, 2 count. Ryo with a waistlock, Itoh with a headbutt, Rosa hits a huge dropkick on Nyla. Thunder Rosa with a Twisting dive on everybody on the outside.

Back in the ring, Itoh hits a swinging DDT on Rosa. Reble with the crutches, Rosa intercepts and throws her from the apron, Rosa spikes Itoh with a sideslam for the victory.

Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami, & Thunder Rosa win.

Baker attacks Rosa with the crutch. Bakers get the lockjaw on Rosa, Rebel grinds the crutch in Rosa’s face.

Matt Hardy and Private Party are backstage. Matt says he has been reflecting and he need to bring more money in. Matt says he has been filling safes his whole life. He is going to add to the Hardy empire. He introduces Butcher, Blade and Bunny into the Hardy empire. Says the four of them will destroy four people on Dark Elevation and the five of them will destroy Dark Order.

Commercial Break.

Scorpio Sky makes his way to the ring. Darby Allin is out next.

TNT Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) vs. Scorpio Sky

Darby offers the fist bomb which Sky gives. Lock up, Darby with the snapmare and a side headlock, Sky gets the leg and Darby gets the hammerlock, Darby with the rollup for a 2 count. Sky takes a breather in the corner. Grappling on the floor, Darby doesn’t let go of the waist. Sky is getting frustrated. Sky with a size and strength advantage, Darby drives him out of the ring, Darby appears to injure the left ankle, Sky takes advantage. Uppercut in the corner. 2 count. Sky with a backbreaker and an abdominal stretch.

Picture in picture. Sky takes the advantage, attacking the chest and lungs, Russian leg sweep. Body scissor from Sky, Darby counters with a rollup for a 1 count. Abdominal stretch from Sky. Chops to the chest, Darby with a rollout for a 2 count. Sky hits a powerful right hand, flooring Darby. Darby with the stunner, 2 count. Darby with the Code Red, 2 count. Sky with a high boot, rocking Darby. German suplex, Sky keeps the hold, another German, Darby hits some back elbows but Sky German’s Darby into the turnbuckles.

Darby slams Sky on the apron and Sky counters a suicide dive with a cutter, 2 count. Sky with knees to the face and a big brainbuster, 2 count. Darby with elbows in the corner, goes for the coffin drop but Sky reverse into a powerbomb, 2 count. Sky goes for the TKO, Darby rolls up Sky up in a cradle for a 3 count.

Darby Allin wins.

Darby shows respect to Sky but Sky snaps and attacks him. Sky locks in a heel hook and wont let go. Sky appears to regret his actions momentarily but then smiles.

Commercial Break.

The whole Inner Circle make their entrance. The crowd sing Judas. Jericho says army’s have a war council whenever they need a change. Says the Inner Circle needs a new attitude, maybe a new member. MJF says they don’t need a new member. Says they should let somebody go instead. Sammy Guevera enters. Jericho says he never wanted to see him again. Says Jericho needs to see something. Sammy shows Jericho a video he set up backstage, in the video MJF says the Inner Circle needs new leadership.

In the ring, MJF tells the Inner Circle to “get him”. They go to attack before aligning with Jericho. Jericho calls MJF a son of a bitch. Jericho says they were waiting for this, Jericho pushes MJF down and says he’s out of the Inner Circle. Jericho says he’s fired and they’re gonna deliver an old school Inner Circle beat down. MJF pretends to cry and says he didn’t want the Inner Circle because he was building his own.

The lights go out. When they come back on FTR, Spears and Tully Blanchard are in the ring, they attack the Inner Circle, Spears stomps Sammy into a chair. FTR smash a bottle on Hager. Dax and Spears handcuff Santana and Ortiz. Wardlow hits a huge knee on Jericho. FTR hit a double piledriver on Santana and Ortiz. MJF hits Jericho with the diamond ring. Jericho is bleeding, he goes of the bat and Tully hands it to MJF. MJF attacks Jericho with the bat.

The new group drag Jericho to the stage. Wardlow powerbombs him off the stage.

Dynamite ends with MJF, Wardlow, FTR, Tully Blanchard and Spears standing tall.
