The Undertaker’s controversial views on modern pro wrestling last month became a huge topic of discussion for many, with many disagreeing with what The Deadman said.
While being interviewed with Metro, United States Champion Matt Riddle discussed backstage issues in WWE and how they are dealt with.
Riddle then mocked The Undertaker’s remarks once again by saying problems could be resolved by communication and by not being “men about it” like The Undertaker.
“Pro wrestling is the most outlandish high school you’ll ever go to. Monday Night Raw is just like, ‘what’s gonna happen this week?’ If anybody has a problem with anybody, nobody says it. It’s always like, ‘pst pst’. I’m like, why are we hearing stuff like this? Say something, do something! I’m not saying you have to go The Undertaker route and fight each other and be men about it! I’m saying let’s talk about it. But hey, it is what it is!”
Riddle ended it by saying that if he were ever around younger WWE Superstars, then Riddle would talk to them and play video games – which the Undertaker criticized.
We will have to see what is planned for Riddle now that he’s the WWE United States Champion.
