Shayna Baszler was a legitimate fighter as she proved her worth in the UFC. Afterwards, she left MMA and ventured into the world of pro wrestling, signing with WWE.
When Baszler made her in-ring WWE debut back in 2020 on an episode of Monday Night RAW, fans kept chanting ‘This is boring.’ While speaking on Renee Paquette’s podcast, Baszler talked about learning the art of pro wrestling.
Baszler then revealed the advice Randy Orton gave her after fans called Baszler boring. Orton advised her not to worry about what the fans said.
“So, it has been this big learning curve, but I think feeling that comfort in what I am and not necessarily, and this is leaving out a bunch of Randy Orton being like, ‘Don’t worry about the fans saying it’s boring.’ AJ Styles giving advice and all these guys giving advice, but it’s been a hard balance and it’s something I’m struggling with because I have this old school style, but also I can’t necessarily do it the way they did it back then because it’s wrestling today, so it’s still a juggling process.”
Randy Orton is a true veteran in WWE, having worked in the company for almost two decades and is no doubt a locker room leader.
Shayna Baszler recently broke one of Asuka’s teeth on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
