Soooooo, The Miz is the WWE Champion. Last night the A-Lister cashed-in after Drew McIntyre retained his title in the Elimination Chamber and suffered an attack at the hands of Bobby Lashley. This marks the first time Miz has been Champion in almost a decade and the big question is whether or not he can hold onto it until WrestleMania. Regardless, we suspect we’ll be hearing a lot of gloating tonight from Miz but surely Drew McIntyre will be out for revenge, while Lashley wants the title. And where does Sheamus fit into all of this? It’s certainly an interesting title picture.

Speaking of Lashley, he actually lost his United States Championship in a Triple Threat last night, where Riddle pinned John Morrison. It seems Lashley has moved on to the main event scene, so who does Riddle feud with next? Does he keep going with Morrison? Will Keith Lee return and want his rightful shot? Or does someone like AJ Styles or Sheamus slot in? Let us know what you think is next for the US Champion.

Not much is known about tonight’s RAW so far, but we can assume we’ll hear from the pregnant Lacey Evans and father Ric Flair, which also leaves Asuka without a challenger. And there’s always the possibility we’ll see the return of The Fiend to continue his feud with Randy Orton. WrestleMania season is upon us and there’s a lot of spinning plates, so we want to know what’s on your mind. Let us know below and enjoy!

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with a look back at the RAW Elimination Chamber match, which Drew McIntyre won. Following the match Bobby Lashley assaulted McIntyre all around ringside, and then Mr. Money In The Bank came out to pick the bones. The new WWE Champion, The Miz, makes his way to the ring for a very special edition of Miz TV.

The Miz welcomes us to the show and calls it “Champion’s edition”. He says 16 years ago he stepped into a WWE ring and everyone in the locker room and all the fans said he wouldn’t last three months. Well here he is, all these years later, still here and the WWE Champion. He says the top stars of his generation have come and gone, the Batista’s, the John Cena’s, all run away to Hollywood to make buddy cop movies and commercials. Miz says none of them have his star or staying power. Miz then says he called his spot, like the Babe Ruth of WWE. Everybody thought the knew what WrestleMania was going to look like but he had other plans, and now he is the only 2X Grand Slam Champion in the history of WWE.

Miz starts to say he has earned the title and demanded respect when he gets interrupted by Bobby Lashley and MVP. When they get to the ring MVP congratulates Miz but says he failed to tell everyone that Bobby Lashley wrecked Drew McIntyre, allowing him to win the title. Miz says he was getting there and he thanks them. Miz turns to leave but MVP calls him back and says last night John Morrison cost Lashley the United States Championship, and he promised them a Championship shot if he won the title, and they want him to pay his debt. Miz says he remembers but he has a lot on his plate right now, between Miz & Mrs, Fastlane, WrestleMania, photoshoots, and more. Lashley grabs him by the tie and says he has one hour to make the decision. One way or another Lashley will beat Miz senseless and it will be awesome.

Riddle is with Lucha House Party backstage and they congratulate him on winning the United States Championship, but he thought they were congratulating him on winning a game of Call of Duty: Warzone. He thanks them and says he’s going to call the eagle on the belt Travis. He has a match with Morrison after the break and Riddle rides off on a scooter.

They stand like Mortal Kombat characters and trade some punches and kick and lots of reversals but Morrison drops Riddle with a capoeira kick, then Riddle hits a gutwrench suplex for a two-count.

Riddle forearms Morrison and he fires right back, then Riddle catches a kick and punches him in the gut, then Morrison sticks a thumb in his eye. Morrison takes Riddle down using capoeira, then goes to a choke but Riddle fights up. Riddle spills over the apron and Morrison does a spinning splash to him and landed hard on his knee. Morrison gets Riddle back inside and runs at him but Riddle flips him over the ropes and they land on the apron. They trade shots on the apron until Riddle hits a fisherman suplex.

Riddle goes to the apron and kicks Morrison, then hits the Floating Bro and gets him back inside.

Riddle kicks him back and heads up top but Morrison leaps up and hits a Spanish fly for a near-fall. Morrison wants Moonlight Drive but Riddle counters with the Bro-2-Sleep. Morrison superkicks Riddle, then hits a big knee to the face. Morrison looks for Starship Pain but Riddle catches him and hits the BroDerek for the win.

The Miz is backstage with Adam Pearce, saying he shouldn’t be allowing this to happen. Miz says Lashley shouldn’t be allowed to bully people and that he had no written agreement with Lashley to help him last night. Pearce says he respects Miz and agrees that everyone doubted him but he needs to make a decision and the clock is ticking. Miz isn’t happy and pulls out his phone.

T-Bar runs back in and he also gets dropped with Trouble In Paradise.

Bobby Lashley and MVP are coming to the ring for Miz’s decision, and Lashley is in his gear ready to go.

*Commercial Break*

Adam Pearce is in the ring and he says the hour is up, so it’s time for Miz to answer the ultimatum. Lashley and MVP come to the ring, followed by Miz and Morrison. Lashley is not happy seeing Miz still wearing a suit. Pearce stands between the four of them and asks Miz to make his decision right now. Miz says he has made his decision and his answer is that he needs more time. Lashley tells him to stop wasting his time, it’s like wasting his money and he doesn’t like that. Miz makes more excuses, like saying he already promised John Morrison a shot at the title. He simply needs more time. Miz says he understands Lashley wants the WWE Championship, he deserves it, but he needs to be at his best and right now he’s not 100%.

Miz asks Pearce for even a week but as they’re talking, Braun Strowman’s music hits and he stomps down to the ring. Strowman says he’s the only person who deserves a WWE Title shot. Pearce says he can’t demand anything but Strowman says it’s clear Pearce and Shane McMahon have a vendetta against him, and that’s why he wasn’t in the Elimination Chamber. He says he’s more qualified than Lashley, seeing as he’s a former Universal Champion. Miz tries to stir the pot between Braun and Lashley but out comes Shane McMahon!

Shane tells everyone to chill out and asks Pearce what kind of ship he’s running. Shane says Braun can’t storm down to the ring and demand a title match, and if he still can’t grasp the concept of the Elimination Chamber match, Braun was never WWE Champion. Braun says the concept sucks, Shane sucks, Miz sucks, Lashley sucks, it all sucks and he wants a WWE Championship opportunity tonight. Shane says that idea sucks. Braun says if that’s the case, then give him Lashley. Shane likes that idea and books it, and if Braun can win tonight then next week it will be The Miz Vs. Bobby Lashley Vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Championship! Strowman makes a smart comment as Shane is leaving and Lashley hits him with a chop block from behind. Lashley leaves and stares down Braun from the ramp.
