Austin Theory’s Twitter Account Has Strange Activity After He Was Abducted At TakeOver

WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day featured an NXT North American Title match, but Austin Theory wasn’t at ringside as Johnny Gargano expected. Theory was abducted by Dexter Lumis as he made his way to the ring.

That sudden backstage abduction by Lumis was missed by some fans. He snuck up to Theory, placed a rag over his mouth, and dragged him away. Gargano noticed that Theory wasn’t there when he made his entrance, but there was nothing he could do about it at that point.

In what some are considering a concerning sign, Theory’s Twitter profile picture has now changed to a photo of Dexter Lumis’ face. This change of profile picture tweet received some immediate attention.

We’ll have to see when Austin Theory appears next, but he might still be a bit captive at the moment.
