WWE Evolution was the first-ever female-only pay-per-view in the company’s history. It took place in 2018 and received a lot of praise from fans and Superstars alike. Since then fans have been wondering whether a second Evolution pay-per-view will happen or not. One of the highlights of the event saw Toni Storm defeating Io Shirai in order to win the Mae Young Classic.
While speaking to Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes and SPORF, Toni Storm said Evolution was the best thing to happen to her career in WWE. Storm then talked about the possibility of a second Evolution PPV taking place. To this, she said that it will definitely happen in the future.
“I would love it, and I think there will be. I think it’s important that we keep the momentum going for this women’s revolution. It’s really important to me. It’s the best thing to ever happen to my career. So I’m sure, in the future, there will be another one. No doubt.”
Storm is one of the top Superstars in NXT, where there are several talented female Superstars. She also had an impressive showing at the Women’s Royal Rumble match last month.
Storm is set to compete in a triple threat match between Mercedes Martinez and Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day this Sunday.
