Andrade hasn’t been seen on WWE television for quite a while. His last match was on October 12th, 2020 when Angel Garza beat him in under three minutes. Fans are still waiting for his return to action.
Ringside News exclusively reported why Andrade wasn’t drafted to either brand. The rumor was that Andrade would end up on RAW, but that never took place.
According toFightful, El Idolo was not even placed on the list as a Royal Rumble alternate. This was a designation that was on people like Murphy and Cedric Alexander, but Andrade wasn’t needed.
We’ve heard nothing about whether or not Andrade being at the building, but we can confirm he wasn’t listed as an alternate, either.
There were rumors that WWE was planning to bring Andrade back and give him a push. That hasn’t happened yet either, and he has not been seen.
Andrade has a ton of ability and he worked very hard to brush up his English language skills. We’ll have to see if he returns to make 2021 an even better year. It’s unclear what WWE will do with him at this point as his absence has been much longer than anyone previously guessed.
