WWE Locks Down Trademark Involved In Popular NXT Storyline

WWE has big plans for a new name in NXT to stick around. They recently filed a trademark to ensure that the company owns the name.

According to Heel By Nature, WWE registered a trademark for Mei Ying on February 3rd. The name was officially registered into the database on February 6th.

Mei Ying is involved in the ongoing storyline with Xia Li and Boa on WWE NXT. Tian Sha is the leader of the new group. The last episode of WWE NXT focused a big on the backstory of Tian Sha. This is obviously a storyline that will get more complex as the weeks go by.
