WWE is holding their Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Sunday, and plenty of fans are wondering who will win the big matches. The question of who will be in those matches is also a big matter of concern right now.
The company only has 17 men announced and 12 women for the Royal Rumble matches. That leaves 18 women spots open and 13 for the men if they are to make the typical 30. Needless to say, the Royal Rumble should be full of surprises.
WWE already revealed that Edge and Braun Strowman, two people who would have made big surprises, are already in the match. This led a lot of fans to speculate about who will fill those remaining spots.
Ringside News exclusively reported eariler this month that the company was not considering any NXT Superstars for the Royal Rumble matches. A lot of things could have happened since then, but it wasn’t the plan at the time.
We also reported that WWE Performance Center talent was informed that they might be needed as extras for the event. You can check out the list below for the Royal Rumble matches. The number placement is in reference to the order they announced their entry and not how they will appear in the matches this Sunday.
