Ronda Rousey hasn’t been around WWE since WrestleMania 35. Her hiatus has taken a lot longer than many had guessed it would, but the pandemic could have gotten in the way of a lot of plans. Now we are looking at the end of Rousey’s WWE contract, and she hasn’t been back.

The Baddest Woman On The Planet recently took a shot at her betting odds to win the Royal Rumble match. That little joke was a clear indication that she is, at least, paying attention.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Rousey is still under contract until April 10th. That is the first night of WrestleMania 37, but she’s not expected back right now.

Rousey is still under contract through 4/10, which would be day one of Mania. Obviously she could do a new contract if both sides wanted it.

Paul Heyman, who worked closely with Ronda Rousey during her WWE run, hinted that she might have signed a new contract extension. That was a cryptic message, but we have heard nothing to confirm it.

Ronda Rousey is a very unique case. She also kayfabed fans into thinking she was in Columbia prior to her initial Royal Rumble debut.

WWE set up a big contract with Ronda Rousey, and she hasn’t been back to wrestle since her full-time run with the company ended. We’ll have to see if there are any huge surprises on Sunday, but it’s not likely that Rousey will be one of them right now.
