Peyton Royce Says She Still Misses Billie Kay As Tag Team Partner

WWE split up The IIconics without giving fans any time to prepare, and the company hasn’t done much with them since. Peyton Royce was paired up with Lacey Evans as a team on RAW, but it’s unknown what will happen to that union now that Ric Flair is a part of the picture.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino, Peyton Royce said that she couldn’t say no to Lacey Evans, but it was mostly because she no longer had Billie Kay around. In the end, Peyton Royce still misses Billie Kay.

“I couldn’t say no to Lacey, purely for the fact that I did not have Billie, I could not have Billie by my side, and Lacey was searching in desperate need for an opportunity, and hey, I’m not one to argue with that. I need opportunities too, so I will go along with her.”

“Lacey has this fearless personality and she does not care who she rubs the wrong way. She does not care what she has to do to get those opportunities. I’m going along with her so I can get the opportunities, but do I love being her tag team partner? No. No, I miss Billie.”

Brand lines still separate the IIconics, but you never know when WWE might bend those rules again. They have done so in the past when they want to make something work. The Royal Rumble could also provide Peyton Royce and Billie Kay with an opportunity to meet again, but it will be in a much different setting.
