Goldberg’s legendary undefeated streak in WCW was ended after Scott Hall used a cattle prod, while dressed as a security guard, on Goldberg. Then Kevin Nash got the pin to break the streak. Drew McIntyre says that he won’t need all those theatrics at the Royal Rumble.

The WWE Champion has already stated that he will end Goldberg’s new streak in WWE. That is an interesting streak since Goldberg’s last match was a loss at WrestleMania 36 to Braun Strowman. McIntyre is still set on shutting Goldberg down.

McIntyre appeared on WWE The Bump to hype the Royal Rumble. He also sent a little warning to Goldberg while bringing up that piece of his history from WCW.

“I’m happy, you know the look in Goldberg’s eyes on RAW, that’s the Goldberg I want. That’s the Goldberg I was talking about, 173-0, he ran through some of the best back in the day.”

“Goldberg has proven with this new streak as he returns and beats champions that he’s still the same Goldberg. He’s still got it.”

“Goldberg, I’m excited to see that look in your eyes. I can’t wait until Sunday. It’s gonna be an incredible match. No matter what people might think, I’m going to tell you right now what’s gonna happen. These are two alpha heavyweights and we aren’t afraid to hit or be hit. We are going to beat the crap out of each other.”

“In the end, who’s next? Goldberg. What’s next? My boot connecting with his face and ending this new streak of defeating champions every time he returns and I ain’t gonna need a freaking cattle prod to do it. All I’ll need is one Claymore.”

The Royal Rumble event is sure to be full of surprises. That event has the extreme likelihood of bringing big moments. Drew McIntyre is currently the betting favorite to beat Goldberg on Sunday, but we’ll just have to see what happens. One thing we do know is that Goldberg doesn’t get paid by the hour.
